On May 3, 1946, a prelude to trial of war criminals by the Far East International Military Tribunal was held in Tokyo, Japan. After two and a half years of court trial, on November 12, 1948, the chief war criminal of Tojo Hidetoshi was finally sent Gallows. During this period, Pu Yi, the last emperor, once appeared as a witness for eight days and is known as the longest-serving prisoner in custody. Nearly 60 years later, details of Pu Yi testifying so far have seen little. Recently, the mass publishing house in the process of sorting out the manuscripts of My First Half-Life found out about Pu Yi’s testifying in court. Whenever I commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, I give my first publication to readers.
