作者介绍:薛涌,1961年生,毕业于北京大学中文系,先后就职不走过场北京晚报社、中国社会科学院政治学研究所。1994年赴美,1997年获耶鲁大学东亚研究硕士学位,1999年至2000年在日本进修,现为耶鲁大学历史系博士候选人、波士顿萨福克大学历史系助理教授。近年在国内出版的作品有《直话直说的政治》、《右翼帝国的生成》等。
Author introduction: Xue Yong, born in 1961, graduated from Peking University Department of Chinese, has successively taken office not to go through Beijing Evening News, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Political Science. He went to the United States in 1994, obtained his master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Yale University in 1997, and studied in Japan from 1999 to 2000. He is now a Ph.D candidate in the Department of History at Yale University and an assistant professor of history at Suffolk University in Boston. In recent years, his works published in China include “straightforward politics” and “right-wing empire formation”.
