美国芝加哥国际机床展(IMTS)——美国是继英国之后世界上机床技术最先进、机床工业实力最强的国家。其高效自动化机床、自动线、NC机床、FMS、CIM技术,至今于世界上在理论和实践方面一直领先。它首先学习英国经验,于第二次世界大战前(约1942年)举办第一次国际机床展。二次大战时停办,至1996年已举办过26届。从1991年起,美国将机床协会服务范围扩大到整个制造技术,原机床协会(NMTBA)改名为美国制造技术协会(AMT),国际机床展览会亦改名为美国芝加哥制造技术展览会(IMTS)。
United States Chicago International Machine Tool Show (IMTS) - United States after the United Kingdom is the world’s most advanced machine tool technology, machine tool industry, the strongest country. Its highly efficient automated machine tools, automatic lines, NC machine tools, FMS, CIM technology, has been in the world in theory and practice has been leading. It first learned the British experience and organized the first International Machine Tool Show before the Second World War (circa 1942). World War II closed, to 1996 has been held 26 sessions. Since 1991, the United States has extended the scope of its services to the entire manufacturing technology. The original Machine Tool Association (NMTBA) has been renamed the American Association of Manufacturing Technology (AMT) and the International Machine Tool Exhibition has also changed its name to the American Manufacturing Technology Exhibition in Chicago (IMTS).
