赵紫阳总理在六届人大二次会议上所作的《政府工作报告》中指出,今后在经济工作中,要着重抓好体制改革和对外开放这两件大事。财会战线的同志同全国人民一样,正在认真贯彻执行这个精神,以出色的成绩来迎接建国三十五周年这个伟大的节日!这几年,在党的十一届三中全会和十二大所确定的正确路线指引下,我国的社会主义建设,取得了令人鼓舞的成就。国民经济在调整、改革、整顿、提高的方针指引下稳步前进,农业连续五年获得大丰收,工业也保持了较高的发展速度,人民的生活有了比较明显的改善。

In recent years, at the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee and the 12th National Congress of the CPC Under the guidance of the correct line established by our country, our country has made encouraging achievements in socialist construction. Under the guideline of adjustment, reform, rectification and improvement, the national economy has made steady progress. Agriculture has enjoyed a great bumper harvest for five consecutive years. The industry has also maintained a relatively high pace of development and the people’s livelihood has been significantly improved.
