Substance P (SP) is a neuropeptide that is widely distributed in the central and peripheral nervous systems and plays a bidirectional role in nerve and hematopoietic system mediated through specific receptors. SP in bone marrow (BM) can be derived from the release of SP-IR fibers distributed in BM and does not exclude the synthesis of macrophages, eosinophils and endothelial cells.
