A model for simulating and analyzing the overall performance of a blast furnace hearth has been developed. The model is based on a set of assumptions about the rate of production of molten iron and slag, the rate of discharge, and the points of the tapping operation. Earlier studies have demonstrated that these assumptions are suitable for simulating the overall operation of an industrial blast furnace hearth. The model takes into account the situation of floating column floating in the molten iron bath. The model can be used to make assumptions analysis, such as analyzing the geometry of the hearth, the depth of the slag iron, the output, the slag ratio and the tapping time on the tapping process. At the same time, a set of simple equations for the example is proposed. The effects of changes in the interface and internal conditions on the hearth performance are illustrated in this model.
