美国夕尔凡尼亚公司制造的精密跟踪飞机系统是一部精密激光雷达,用它可实现对合作目标(目标上设置了角反射器)的跟踪和定位。此角反射器即使在背景照明中也能提供极强激光脉冲回波。该系统可精密测量目标的方位、俯仰角和距离,取样速率为100次/秒。所测数据可录在磁带中或用实时计算机处理。激光雷达系统的测量精度与电影经纬仪的不相上下,并且无需费时处理数据。它是单台实现目标定位设备,故系统定位很简单。
The precision tracking aircraft system manufactured by the United States of America, New Haven, is a precision laser radar that allows tracking and positioning of cooperative targets (corner reflectors set on the target). This corner reflector provides extremely intense laser pulse echoes, even in background lighting. The system can accurately measure the target’s azimuth, pitch and distance, sampling rate of 100 times / second. Measured data can be recorded on tape or processed using a real-time computer. Lidar system measurement accuracy comparable with the theodolite, and without the time-consuming data processing. It is a single target positioning equipment, so the system positioning is very simple.
