千年瓷都景德镇在陶瓷界的影响、地位都让世界陶瓷界望其项背。陶瓷文化是祥瑞文化,作为传递人类文化信息的一个重要载体,陶瓷上出现的是人们自然而和谐的生产、生活信息。景德镇陶瓷由于质美物祥,一千年前就步入中国甚至世界的最上层阶级生活领域,仰或成为权力和地位的象征,成为皇家独家享用的尊贵之物。于是,“祥瑞”就是景德镇官窑唯一内涵。民间陶瓷文化,也势必表达同样的信息。由于这样的属性,直到今天,陶瓷文化仍然反映着祥端的内容。
