The length of the demolition work is long, costly and unsafe. In recent years, with the development of construction technology, some units have begun to use the demolition of the brick chimney by the directional blasting method. However, due to the high technical requirements of the method and the risk of initial use, it is still difficult to popularize it. During the rebuilding of the canteen of the Hunan Agricultural College, the company learned that the “fired brick chimney is oriented down completely” (referred to as “burning method”) in the chimney-rising group of the Beijing Construction Bureau.
