According to “Nikkei Industrial News” January 1999 January reported that Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries recently added a metal molybdenum method successfully developed a chlorine-resistant stainless steel and successful. The new stainless steel is produced by adding 45% molybdenum metal and 15% copper to 22% austenitic stainless steel containing nickel. Because of the close bonding of molybdenum to oxygen on the surface of this steel, it is corrosion-resistant and easy to attack
