Dan Sperber和Deirdre Wilson提出的关联理论把言语交际看作是一个明示—推理的过程。口译作为人类言语交际方式之一要求译者按照“准、顺、快”的原则在短时间内将自己听到的源语(SL)转换成目的语(TL)。寻找并构建最佳关联成为解决口译难的上佳途径。为了提高口译的质量,需要译者结合口译特点,探索在口译中如何构建最佳关联。
Relevance theory proposed by Dan Sperber and Deirdre Wilson regards speech communication as an explicit-reasoning process. As one of the communicative ways of human speech, interpreter requires that the translator convert the source language (SL) he himself heard into the target language (TL) in a short period of time according to the principle of “quasi, smooth and fast”. Finding and building the best association is a good way to solve the difficulty of interpreting. In order to improve the quality of interpretation, the translator needs to combine the characteristics of interpretation to explore how to construct the best correlation in interpretation.
