Turbo码是一种具有接近 Shannon编码理论极限性能的新型并行级联码 ,但由于其系统延时较大而限制了它在通信系统中的应用。本文针对 Turbo编译码的结构和特点 ,讨论了选取 Turbo码作为信道编码方案时的系统延时特性。结合 Turbo码系统中对延时影响较大的编码调制方式和软输入软输出迭代译码的特点 ,提出了通过改变系统传输方式和译码算法流程来降低系统延时的方法
Turbo code is a new kind of parallel concatenated code with the performance close to Shannon coding theory limit, but its application in communication system is limited due to its large system delay. In this paper, according to the structure and characteristics of Turbo coding and decoding, we discuss the system delay characteristics when choosing Turbo codes as the channel coding scheme. Combined with the characteristics of the code modulation method and the soft-input soft-output iterative decoding, which greatly affect the delay in the Turbo code system, a method of reducing the system delay by changing the system transmission method and the decoding algorithm flow is proposed
