The authors published a case of progressive generalized neurological degenerations of more than 30 years due to failed diagnosis of insulinomas. A 48-year-old woman was admitted to hospital in 1983 for mental disorders. Deep coma was found on the bed that morning. However, the reflexes were active and the plantar responses were positive. Blood glucose is 18mg / 100ml, 50% glucose injection, the rapid recovery of consciousness. During the recovery period, the performance of silence, solitary and severe deafness, and convulsive gait, but no evidence of peripheral neuropathy.
