《王子复仇记》(一九四八年) 《王子复仇记》根据莎士比亚的四大悲剧之一《哈姆雷特》改编。该故事发生在十三世纪丹麦京城。老国王被其弟克劳迪亚斯毒死,王子哈姆雷特忧郁过度,表面上装疯卖傻,其实是伺机报仇。大臣陂洛尼亚斯想了解王子的企图,故意叫女儿欧菲莉娅去接近他。哈姆雷特误将在幕后偷听的大臣刺死。欧菲莉娅极度悲痛,投河自尽。其兄闻讯赶来,誓死要为父妹报仇,克劳迪亚斯唆使他跟哈姆雷特决斗,并在剑头上敷毒药。在决斗的间歇,国王叫王子喝放了毒药的酒。王后受良心谴责,一把夺过喝下,当场死去。哈姆雷特义愤填膺,挥剑击中对手,冷不防也被暗剑刺伤,顿时毒性发作。哈姆雷特拼足最后力气将十恶不赦的克劳迪亚斯刺死,为父报了仇,自己也倒下。
