The Genealogy of the New Tang Dynasty and the Biography of Japan did not come from the Japanese Book Records but was cut and processed by the Japanese monks who were devoted to Song Taizong’s “King Age”. “New Tang Book” and “Song History” were more or less corrupted in transcribing the “Chronicle of the Chronology,” but it is precisely these corrupt places that provide evidence for clarifying the inheritance relationship among the three. Scholars often try to find the source of the pedigree of the Emperor from the earlier historical data than that of the New Tang Dynasty, but ignore the fact that this source of history has been preserved more completely in the Song History written by future generations.
