Numerous studies have shown that hydroxyapatite (HA) -coated dental implants are superior to non-HA-coated titanium implants but are also controversial as different structures of titanium are also accepted by living bone tissue. One surface treatment technology, titanium paste (TPS), also improves implant stability and mechanical retention. In this paper, HA-coated TPS columnar implants and TPS columnar implants were compared. Materials and Methods Sixty-five patients with dental implants were selected for TPS columnar implants and HA-coated TPS column implants provided by Stemgold / Implamed.
