红安县位于湖北省大别山南麓,以前由于多种原因新生儿破伤风发病率始终在1‰以上.为实现世界卫生组织提出的到2000年无新生儿破伤风死亡的目标,我们采取给生育期妇女接种破伤风类毒素,增强母婴免疫力的措施.经过两年实践,全县新生儿破伤风发病率由1986年的3.67‰下降到1988年的0.55‰.具体作法: 一、提高认识,统一思想针对某些人认识上的分岐,我们首先组织专业人员学习有关文件和资料,统一了思想,然后利用广播、报纸、墙报等多种形式,广泛向群众宣传接种“破类”的意义.
