松材线虫病（Ｂｕｒｓａｐｈｅ－ｌｅｎｃｈｕｓｘｙｌｏｐｈｉｌｕｓ）是松树的一种毁灭性、传播性病害，具有发病期短、死树快、潜伏浸染时间长、危害大、防治难等特点。１９９５年１０月，苏州首次发现松材线虫病危害以来，通过采取积极有效的防治措施，取得了较好的效果，疫点基本扑灭，控制了松材线虫病的危害，保护了６０００ｈｍ２松林的安全。本文就本地区松材线虫病发生与防治等情况予以介绍。
Bursaphe lenchus xylophilus is a kind of devastating and spread disease of pine tree, which has the characteristics of short period of onset, fast dead tree, long latent infection time, great harm and difficult prevention and treatment. In October 1995, Suzhou first discovered the harmfulness of pine wood nematode, and achieved good results by taking active and effective control measures. The epidemic point was basically extinguished and the damage of pine wilt disease was controlled and the safety of 6000hm2 pine forest was protected . This article describes the occurrence and control of pine wilt disease in the region.
