世界零售业巨头法国家乐福在中国西部城市西安的唯一一家超市将在7月底停业。这是1995年起进入中国市场的全球第二大零售商首次收缩在华业务版图。家乐福西安店的一名工作人员说,家乐福已经全面进行最后的盘点工作,西安当地员工大多已与店里解除合同关系,从7月1日起便不再上班,待店内商品基本处理完毕,家乐福西安店将在本月底全部撤离西安。家乐福虽然在西安因“水土不服”而被迫歇业,但是以其为代表的西方零售业在中国的发展总体态势依然非常好,我国的零售业应以此为警戒,反思自身发展存在的不足,这样才能与国外的巨头零售商相竞争。(新华网西安7月13日电)
