Virginia Woolf for the clever use of time in her later works are also reflected most vividly. For example, in her most exaggerated novel Orlando, the time was divided into heroic as male and female into two sections, covering more than 300 years, and her age was only 30 years old, so in this In the novel, time is staggered, like a multidimensional space. Another example in the “waves”, the six protagonists a day of life represents their life. Whenever they recall something of the past at some point of the day, a few people go back to the old space and after a while, their thoughts return to the room where they all meet. This article takes Woolf’s later two masterpieces, “Orlando” and “Wave” as examples to demonstrate the spatial characteristics of time.
