金叶水杉,杉科水杉属,树皮红褐色,叶片在整个生长期内均呈现出金黄色,属新优彩叶乔木品种,是近年发展起来的一个新的水杉栽培品种。其树形端庄、稳重、生长快,性强健,年生长量高度超过1m,直径超过1cm。其树冠常年金黄,叶片形如羽毛,复叶稳定无退色现象,其叶片在春、夏、秋三季都始终保持鲜艳亮丽的黄色,生长快,适应范围广,耐寒,耐热。对环境小气候及空气湿度的要求不高,目前,在北京、江苏、上海、浙江、四川、河南等地均有引种。
