论述了对不同类型水库采取大水面放养、网箱养鱼、移植大银鱼等先进增养殖技术，取得了显著的经济效益和社会效益。该技术居省内领先达到国内先进水平。经验收，1996年完成大水面养鱼1367.3hm2，产鱼72.55万kg；网箱养吃食性鱼1914箱、3．83hm2，产鱼310.32kg；网箱养滤食性鱼2240箱、6．27hm2，产鱼36.1万kg；网箱养青虾1682箱、3．53hm2，卢虾8.07万kg；捕大银鱼8万kg。总获利润1718．19万元，投入产出比为1:1．65。
