黄河龙口水利枢纽工程是由水利部新华水利投资公司、山西省万家寨引黄工程总公司、内蒙古能源发电投资有限公司、黄河万家寨水利枢纽有限公司共同投资兴建的大型水利枢纽工程。龙口水利枢纽工程的主要任务是对万家寨水利枢纽发电下泄流量进行反调节,参与晋蒙电网调峰发电,确保黄河万家寨一天桥区间不断流。工程于2005年9月经国家发改委核准立项,2006年6月全面开工建设。2006年11月,根据工程建设需要,黄河万家寨水利枢纽有限
