目的 研究血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)在脑转移癌中的表达,探讨VEGF与脑水肿和微血管形成的关系。方法 应用免疫组化技术检测16例脑转移癌组织VEGF蛋白表达和微血管计数,通过MRI T_2像或CT扫描估计水肿程度。结果 VEGF阳性者15例,平均表达系数为2.53,瘤周脑水肿平均系数为2.69,微血管计数每0.723mm平均为51.76个,VEGF染色阳性系数与瘤周脑水肿(PVBE)系数(r=0.79;P<0.001)和微血管数(r=0.65;P<0.01)存在紧密相关关系。结论 VEGF存在于脑转移癌组织中,在肿瘤微血管形成和PVBE方面发挥重要作用。
Objective To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in brain metastases and to explore the relationship between VEGF and brain edema and microvascular formation. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of VEGF protein and microvessel count in 16 cases of brain metastases and the degree of edema was evaluated by MRI T_2 imaging or CT scan. Results There were 15 cases with VEGF positive expression, the average expression coefficient was 2.53, the average rate of peritumoral edema was 2.69, the average number of microvessel counts per 0.723mm was 51.76, the positive rate of VEGF staining and PVBE (r = 0.79; P <0.001) and microvessel number (r = 0.65; P <0.01). Conclusion VEGF is present in brain metastases and plays an important role in tumor microvessel formation and PVBE.
