高校英语教学是提升学生英语交际水平,完成学生英语从基础学习到灵活应用的重要课程手段。特别是近20年来,我国的高校英语教学受到校方和学生的一致关注。学生可以通过阅读外国的专业资料对自己的专业加深学习。对学生开阔眼界有着重要的意义。因此,各高校的英语教育团队都将英语阅读教学作为学生英语教学的重点,开设了相关课程。并对阅读教学进行了深刻的探讨和实践。但在实际的英语教学中,阅读教学则是英语教学中的一大难点。因其存在很大的弊端,使学生在平时的阅读教学中无法达到预期的教育计划,对阅读教学存在偏见。本文从现今阅读教学的现状、阅读教学存在的弊端、阅读教学弊端的解决办法和阅读教学以后的发展方向四各方面对高校英语教学中阅读教学的应用进行分析。
College English teaching is to improve students’ level of English communication, to complete the students English from basic learning to flexible application of important curriculum means. Especially in the past 20 years, the college English teaching in our country has received unanimous attention from the school and students. Students can deepen their studies by reading foreign professional materials. To broaden their horizons is of great significance to students. Therefore, the college English education team will English reading teaching as the focus of English teaching students, opened the relevant courses. And conducted a deep discussion and practice on reading teaching. However, in actual English teaching, reading teaching is a major difficulty in English teaching. Because of its great drawbacks, students can not reach the expected educational plan in normal reading teaching, which prejudices reading teaching. This article analyzes the application of reading teaching in college English teaching from four aspects: the current situation of reading teaching, the defects of reading teaching, the solution of reading teaching defects and the developing direction after reading teaching.
