江宁县靖明乡花园农业生产合作社,是在最近由十九个小社合并而成的一个高级社。该社为女社员参加生产的需要,在转高级社的筹备工作中,同时也考虑了建立幼儿圆的工作。根据该社的生产组织情况,幼儿圆共有三个班,分设在三个耕作区,暂收入圆儿童120名,于2月17日开学。在社的领导和妇女干部的具体帮助下,教养员都能各级的工作,很耐心地教育儿童,对儿童也发生了感情,每天都亲自接送儿童,还给儿童洗手、洗脸、梳头、吃开水,培养儿童的卫生习惯。因此,开学不久,儿童对幼儿圆生活逐渐习惯,有的已能自己来園,有的已会说“老师早”、“老师好”、“再会”,有的已会使用身上佩带的手帕(或一快干净的布)揩鼻涕,有的已学会一二个简单的唱歌和儿歌。儿童回家后,爸爸妈妈听到自己孩子说在圆里有玩具玩,有开水吃,有老师讲故事,还给他们洗手、洗脸、梳头,都非常高兴,认为幼儿圆真是孩子的乐圆。
