In some articles, it is often wrong to mix “two” and “two.” “Two” is a numeral, for example: two, two thousand, twenty thousand and so on. The “two” is the meaning of two, and the word “one” or other quantifiers cannot be used after the “two.” For example: The two of them are good friends, and Xiao Ming eats two taro. The “two” here means both. If quantifiers are used behind “both,” then jokes will be made. For example: 1. I have received your resignation telegram and I know you are sincere. Now that public opinion is under pressure, internal disputes are not small. We are in a difficult situation. The whole country is attacking both of us personally. 2....... Joseph did not yield to his father and rented a house outside to live with Yadeli. The young couple loved each other. The use of the word “both” in the above two cases is inaccurate and inappropriate.
