长期以来,传统教学法一直在我国的外语教学领域占主导地位。英语教学特别注重培养学生的语言知识能力,而忽略了培养学生的语言使用能力,从而在一定程度上导致了学生英语应用能力低下的后果。本文从有利于教育功能的发挥,有利于教育的发展,有利于受教育者的发展等几个方面阐述了提高大学生英语应用能力的价值。
For a long time, the traditional teaching method has been dominant in the field of foreign language teaching in our country. English teaching pays special attention to cultivating students’ ability of language knowledge, while neglecting the ability to cultivate students’ language ability, which to a certain extent leads to students’ low ability to use English. This article elaborates the value of improving college students’ ability to use English in several aspects, which are conducive to the development of educational functions, the development of education, and the development of educated students.
