随着经济全球化的进一步发展,作为一种典型的跨文化交际活动,全球旅游业取得迅速发展,中国尤为如此。中国灿烂的旅游资源和文化吸引着越来越多的外国游客,然而在现有的导游词英译中,导游往往不顾游客的接受能力和文化背景,这就使得外国游客对中国文化造成误解。本文通过分析导游词翻译中的文化现象,表明了中外文化因素在导游词翻译方面起着越来越重要的作用,从而强调了人们在掌握翻译理论的同时应注意了解各地的风俗、宗教和历史文化。本文还给出了针对导游词目前翻译现状的一些应对策略。
With the further development of economic globalization, as a typical cross-cultural communication activity, the global tourism industry has witnessed rapid development, especially in China. Chinese tourist resources and culture attract more and more foreign tourists. However, in the existing translation of tourist guide words, tour guides tend to ignore the tourist’s acceptability and cultural background, which makes foreign tourists misunderstand Chinese culture. By analyzing the cultural phenomena in the translation of guide words, this article shows that Chinese and foreign cultural elements play an increasingly important role in the translation of guide words, emphasizing that people should pay attention to understand the customs, religions and histories culture. This article also gives some countermeasures for the current translation status of Guide Words.
