According to China’s customs statistics, from January to June 2006, the total export volume of China’s printing and dyeing cloth was 5.272 billion meters, up 8.61% over the same period of last year. The export value was 4.277 billion U.S. dollars, up 8.93% over the previous year. The average export price was 0.81 U.S. dollars per meter, up 0.29% Of which, the export volume of cotton printing and dyeing cloth was 1,269 million meters, up 15.31% over the same period of the previous year with the export value of 1,415 million U.S. dollars, up 21.69% over the same period of last year; the average export price was 1.06 U.S. dollars / meter, up by 5%
