A novel and very sensitive electroanalytical method, based on the adsorption chronopotentiometry in the presence of cupferron, was developed for the detendnation of trace levels of aluminum. The working linear range is 2×l0-9-9×10-7 mol/L and the detection limit is 1×10-9 mol/L. It has been successfully applied to the detendnation of Al in various driping-water samples.
