The sponge iron powder was used as the consolidating agent to study the cold consolidation method of three kinds of iron-containing raw material pellets for direct reduction.The consolidation mechanism of iron powder cold consolidation pellets was discussed.The cold consolidation method was carried out in semi-industrial rotary kiln Direct reduction test to verify the laboratory research results.It is put forward that a new process scheme of industrial production for direct reduction of iron powder cold consolidation rotary kiln is proposed.
