世间存在着不公义,战争从没一刻停止,剥削与欺压无日无之。世界彷佛与人们梦想中的乌托邦背道而驰,或许只有电影是我们寻梦之地。然而,商业主流中无聊反智的电影大行其道,文以载道的却乏人问津。英国导演肯·罗奇(Ken Loach)四十年来本着其信念,坚持以电影揭露社会真相、为受欺压群众代言而备受瞩目。该次专访,与这位备受尊崇的导演谈到战争、梦想、爱国、工人权益等议题。肯氏其人其作表现出无畏强权的勇气,他告诉我们,只要锲而不舍地追寻,另一个更美好的世界始终存在。
There is injustice in the world, and the war has never stopped, exploitation and oppression have never ceased. The world seems to run counter to the utopian dreams, perhaps only the movie is our dream land. However, boring anti-intellectual films in the mainstream of business prevailed, but the texts were scarce. For forty years, Ken Loach, the British director, has persisted in using movies to expose the truth of the society and has been attracting much attention for his oppressed people. The interview with the highly respected director talked about such topics as war, dreams, patriotism, workers' rights and interests. With his courage in showing fearless power, Kennedy tells us that as long as we pursue it perseveringly, another, better world will ever exist.
