The important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ is General Secretary Jiang’s insistence on using Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory to gain an insight into the new situation in today’s economic and social development and to make a new generalization of the party’s nature, purpose and fundamental tasks in the initial stage of socialism. It is a guide to strengthening the great program of party building and promoting various tasks. It has provided a solid theoretical basis for us to grasp the foundation of our party, consolidate the foundation for governing and open up sources of power. Studying and loyally practicing the important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ is a historical and obligatory responsibility of the leading cadres of every member of our party.
