记录类摄影会涉及两个方向的评价:记录性和艺术性。这两个概念把许多人弄得很糊涂。有人说摄影是记录,于是被人反驳:那你不要艺术了吗?有人说摄影是艺术,同样被反驳:记录功能才是根本。摄影人就在这样的争论中跌跌撞撞地走过了170年。
Recording photography involves two aspects of evaluation: recordability and artistry. These two concepts confuse many people. Some people say photography is a record, so people were refuted: then you do not art? Some people say that photography is art, the same is contradicted: the recording function is the fundamental. Photographers stumbled on such controversy for 170 years.
