90年代以来王斌、寿仲浩等人使用云成功地预报了多次地震,并提出了地震云理论。这一理论认为:应力使地壳运动、摩擦、甚至破裂,产生大量热量,使地下水变为蒸汽,然后从裂隙中喷射出来冷凝为云。该理论和杜乐天先生的“地球排气”理论不谋而合。杜乐天先生认为地球内部存在大量高压气体如CO2、H2、CH4等,溢出地表后使地面增温。这种增温已经被卫星观测所证实。国家地震局的强祖基研究员通过观测这种温度异常成功地实现
