The “Revolutionary Central Committee Memorial Sun Yat-sen’s 140th Anniversary Symposium” opened on the morning of November 9, 2006 at the Beijing Jingdong Hotel. The meeting was hosted by the Central Committee of the People’s Revolutionary Committee and co-organized by the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Revolutionary Democratic Revolutionary Committee. More than 300 scholars, including Sun Yat-sen’s scholars and major media reporters, participated in the conference on behalf of the Central Committee of the People’s Revolutionary Committee and members of the CPPCC members across the country.
