《系统24》是英国莫利斯公司针对多品种小批量自动化生产而研制的一种柔性加工系统(FMS).尽管它最早于1967年就已问世,但其良好的设计布局和结构上的具体特征,对我们今天进行机械加工的自动化规划设计仍不失其参考价值。本文是从日本所发表的介绍该系统的资料中节译的.首先概述了《系统24》在结构组成上的两个区域——加工区和备料区,以及系统的控制部分。然后着重就加工区的主要设备——数控机床、托板和工具集装板及其供给机、转换机构、输送车等的结构和动作原理作了较为具体的介绍.
“System 24” is a flexible processing system (FMS) developed by Morris Inc. in the UK for small-batch, multi-product automation. Although it was first introduced in 1967, its good design layout and structural details Features, today’s machining automation planning and design is still its reference value. This paper is translated from a paper published in Japan that describes the system, starting with an overview of the two areas of System 24, the processing and preparation areas, and the control section of the system.
