杭州市采荷中学创办于1989年,是浙江省首批城镇示范性初中,2004年成立杭州采荷中学教育集团,现有采荷和濮家两个校区,班级40个,学生2000多人,教职工130人。杭州市采荷中学教育集团具有良好的教学设施和师资条件,现有浙江省名师培养对象2人,区名师、名校长培养对象6人,浙江省教坛新秀1人,市教坛新秀7人,高级教师32人。学校注重全体师生的共同发展,走“科研兴校”之路,勇于改革,不断摸索,形成了以“道德规范自律内化、知识能力自主建构、个性特长自赏张扬”三大教育板块为主要操作层面的初中“自主实践教育”体系。教育教学硕果累累,学校整体教学水平居于杭州前列。体育、艺术、科技、劳技竞赛以及学科竞赛成绩突出,年年有数百名学生在国家、华东地区、省市区各类比赛中获奖。采荷中学以其“讲自主、重实践、扬个性、促发展”的办学特色和良好的校风成为了杭城教育界的后起之秀。
