Objective To investigate the association between vitamin D levels (VD2 + VD3) and mean platelet volume (MPV) in 348 children. Methods The data of 348 children collected from September 2013 to September 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. All children were divided into three groups according to the test results of vitamin D levels. The level of vitamin D was lower than 10 ng / ml in group A , Vitamin B level was 10-20 ng / ml in group B, while vitamin D level was more than 20 ng / ml in group C compared with MPV in three groups. Results The mean level of MPV was (8.4 ± 1.8) fl in group A, (7.9 ± 1.5) fl in group B, (7.2 ± 1.4) fl in group C, and Group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The level of vitamin D in children is closely related to the average platelet volume. When the level of vitamin D is increased, the level of MPV will be decreased, which is negatively correlated.
