Child education, food, fitness, senior care and digital product chains have been exceptionally hot in the past year. In 2013, the U.S. economy showed a recovery trend but at a slightly slower pace. The International Chain Association (IFA) had forecast a 1.4% increase in the number of chain stores in 2013 (up from 1.5% in 2012, the first increase since 2008). In the past year, more than 11,000 new stores were added to the chain in the United States, contributing 150,000 jobs and ahead of other industries in terms of number of new businesses and employment growth rate.
