走进Gabriel Barredo画廊的新品陈列室中便仿佛进入了一座神圣的殿堂。镀金的雕刻或装饰在两侧的墙壁上、或悬挂在屋顶的天篷上、或像卫兵一样直立站岗。风格迥异的音乐从不知位于何处的裂缝中流淌出来,这些乐曲便如同那些雕像一样时而庄重、时而热烈、时而焕发出惊人的绚丽,原来不搭调的曲子组织在一起反倒成了一个新曲调。(使用金属制品)是我创作风格的一部分。有人会说它过于庸俗、奢华……,然而无论你喜欢它还是恨它,都无法否认它那与从不同的质感。Barredo如是评价那些镀了金的雕刻品(阳光下它们格外醒目)。
