天巧都在篆刻中。印章之于书法,虽无挥洒之自如,却另有古朴浑厚的情致,蕴含着作者特有的审美情趣和哲理。观孟岩之朱迹,具高古、典雅,浑厚之神韵。每方印从构思、布局、取字以至刀法,皆讲究规范。印章布局疏密适中,节奏和谐。线条古朴,虬劲有力。章法平衡、大方、端正。清·丁敬有诗云:“古人篆刻思离群,舒卷浑同岭上云。看到六朝唐宋妙,何曾墨守汉家文。”孟岩之印,如其人,广涉博取,印外求印。篆刻大师邓石如曾刻“春涯”之印,孟岩则以“春涯”自勉,上追古人,承古创新,时出新意。

Qing Ding Jing a poem: “The ancients seal engraving thought out of the crowd, Shu volume muddy with the ridge on the cloud .To see the Six Dynasties Tang and Song Miao, where ever Mojue Han family.” “Meng Yan of India, as its people, India and India. Master Deng Shiru seal engraved ”Spring career “ of India, Meng Yan Zeyi ”Spring career " Mian Mian, chasing the ancients, bearing ancient innovation, when a new idea.
