Kirk Merwin, an American at the Shayibake District Bureau of Statistics in Urumqi, Xinjiang, is a well-known name. The blond, foreigner with his glasses and a travel suit always appear regularly at the National Bureau of Statistics . Perhaps influenced by Marco Polo’s Travels, Mr. Cork Mervyn and his Uyghur Xinjiang Uygur wife opened a beautiful western China scene
