为响应教育部开展高等教育精品课程评选与展示活动的号召,推动大学英语教学改革,完善高等院校英语教师评价体系,鼓励高校青年英语教师参与教学科研活动,提高他们的英语教学水平,从而促进我国高等英语专业人才的培养和发展,经教育部高教司批准,全国高等师范院校外语教学与研究协作组将于2014年3月1日—5月20日举办2014年全国高等院校英语教学精品课大赛。全国高等师范院校外语教学与研究协作组将聘请国内资深高等英语教育专家组成评审组对参赛课例进行评选,并由全国高等师范院校外语教学与研究协作组对在本届大赛中成绩优异的参赛教师进行颁奖表彰。大赛评选结果将报送教育部高教司并在相关媒体刊登。具体参赛方式及评选表彰方式如下:
