作者报告了2例泛发性特发性毛细血管扩张症的病例,用UEA-1植物凝血素免疫组织化学,硷性磷酸醋酶染色及电镜等检查方法,研究了这2例的血管内皮细胞的生物学特征,发现临床症状相同而在内皮细胞水平上有2种类型:①细胞代谢活跃,主要为线圈状蛇行增生的毛细血管,无血管扩张;②细胞代谢不活跃、无增殖性变化,主要为血管扩张。这两种表现不是依病例的不同而不同,而是依皮疹的不同而不同。植物凝血素抗体法是用UEA-1植物凝血素与密集分布在血管内皮细胞表面的血型决定基(O型)结合而进行免疫组织化学。
