Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thinking is an important part of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the guiding ideology of diplomatic work in contemporary China. It is a product of the analysis of the current situation in China and various contradictions in the world today, an effective extension of the principle of seeking truth from facts in the field of diplomacy, and the safeguarding of China’s state A vivid manifestation of rights and interests. This essay probes into Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought comprehensively from four aspects: the background, the main content, the characteristic and the significance of the times of Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought.
