一在新世纪以来日渐繁荣的“商业历史小说”创作潮流中,山西作家成一的文学史地位正在日益凸显。成一最初是凭借农村题材的小说而登上文坛的,但最终奠定他的文学史地位的还是商业题材的小说,准确地说,应该是“商业历史小说”。当今商业题材的小说中,着眼于现实商战的大多艺术境界不高,但着眼于商界历史的长篇小说则时常显示出别具一格的思想和艺术魅力。
