新街基性—超基性杂岩体位于四川米易城北约8公里,白马钒钛磁铁矿区的外围。岩体呈北西330°走向侵入二迭纪玄武岩层,沿走向延伸约1.5公里。倾向北东,平均倾角60°左右,展布面积约1平方公里。除南端出露较好外,大部被掩盖,据勘探资料,岩体总厚度约560米,层状构造发育,具有完善的多旋回重复的特点(图1),岩体底板和玄武岩接触,接触面产状和层状构造一致,据岩性、岩石化学及含矿性等特点与本区主要含钒钛磁铁矿基性超基性岩体相似,下部含矿旋回也有钒钛磁铁矿的富集,局部有铂铬矿化,但矿石质量较差,无经济价值。本文主要根据岩石学特征,讨论新街岩体的成因及其与钒钛磁铁矿富集的关系。

According to the characteristics of lithology, petrochemistry and ore-bearing, similar to the basic vanadium-bearing magnetite basic ultramafic rocks in this area, the lower ore-bearing cycles also have vanadium-titanium magnets The enrichment of ore, local platinum-chromium mineralization, but the poor quality of the ore, no economic value. Based on the petrological characteristics, this paper discusses the genesis of the Xinjie pluton and its relationship with enrichment of vanadium-titanium magnetite.
