在花卉大家族里,玫瑰花朵锦绣,香气宜人,适宜庭园栽植,也是大规模经济栽培的香料植物,历来被各国人民喜爱。在我国,早在汉代就已引种栽培,变野生为家生,并培育出不少优良品种。宋代诗人杨诚斋歌唱玫瑰花,“非关月季姓名同,不与蔷薇谱牒通;接叶连枝千万绿,一花两色浅涂红。风流各是胭脂格,雨露何似造化工别有国香收不得,诗人薰入水沉中”。诗中说明了玫瑰不同于月季,也不同于蔷薇,
